SERVPRO is here to help our communities during hurricane season! Preparedness is key when it comes to dealing with tropical storms and hurricanes in Florida. When state officials declare a hurricane watch or warning in or around your county, make sure your prepared! 

General

Make sure you have at least two weeks supply of your medications, any medical supplies used regularly and a list of allergies.

Flashlights, do not use candles, and make sure to have a surplus of batteries.

Radio, battery operated

Cash $$$ Banks and ATMs may be unavailable after a storm

 First Aid

First Aid manual, sterile and adhesive bandages of different sizes

Scissors, tweezers, sewing needle, antiseptic, thermometer, petroleum jelly, safety pins, soap, latex gloves, sunscreen, aspirin, cotton balls / q-tips

  Important Documents

 Insurance and medical cards, banking numbers, copy of social, marriage and birth certificates, personal documents, set of keys, service animal ID, vet records, and proof of ownership, medical information

 Phone Numbers

Keep a list of important contacts with their number(s) on it. 

 Food & Supplies

Have enough food for 7 days, nonperishable. Non-electric can opener, paper plates, napkins, cups & utensils 

 Transportation

Keep your vehicles completely filled with gasoline in case you have to evacuate.
